Marsha Conrad is a principal in American Business Appraisers, a firm specializing in business valuation and machinery & equipment appraisal services. Since 2003, she has performed valuation services for family-owned and closely-held businesses, professional practices, limited liability companies, corporations and partnerships. As an appraiser, she brings a unique skill level in analyzing business issues for developing an opinion of value for a business or business assets. I am qualified by virtue of extensive training, practical skills and a broad variety of business experiences. Before forming American Business Appraisers, I successfully operated a manufacturing business with operations in two states, along with being a limited partner in several business ventures.

Ms. Conrad holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser “ASA” designation from the American Society of Appraisers. As a member of the American Society of Appraisers, she has fulfilled the education, testing work log requirements and submitted a demonstration report which was approved by ASA’s International Board of Examiners.

Marsha also was awarded the Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser “CMEA” designation from the NEBB Institute, but has since retired the certification in December 2019.

She held the Accredited in Business Appraisal “AIBA” designation awarded by The Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA). This designation is no longer supported by NACVA (purchased IBA); however, she successfully passed a proctored exam on business valuation and fulfilled the requirements in a demonstration report for peer review.

Marsha also earned the designation of Accredited in Business Appraisal Review “ABAR” which was awarded by the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) to individuals who review business valuation reports for litigation and IRS scrutiny. ABAR is a unique credential designed to provide a level of quality assurance to stakeholders in the business appraisal process. ABAR holders have participated in education which teaches an innovative paradigm for appraisal review and quality assurance, hold a recognized business valuation credential, and demonstrated their proficiency both through examination and a demonstration report subject to peer review. Ms. Conrad no longer belongs to the Institute of Business Appraisers so has relinquished the use of these designations.
